AI4Padel vs Matchpoint: managing a club is not filling it
The short answer: Matchpoint records your club and AI4Padel acts on it. Matchpoint runs the calendar, the till and the academy, and does it well; but when the 7:30 pm match is stuck at three players, the calendar writes to nobody. AI4Padel does: it spots the gap, picks who fits from your own members and runs the WhatsApp conversation until the fourth player is seated. You don’t have to choose between them: AI4Padel connects to Matchpoint read-only and never touches a booking. The real question isn’t “which one?” — it’s what the work neither of them was doing costs you every week.

Matchpoint records; AI4Padel acts. And they coexist: a read-only connection, nothing to migrate.

What Matchpoint does well
Let’s say it plainly: if Matchpoint works for your bookings, payments and academy, don’t touch it. It is an established management system, your team already knows it, and your club’s history lives inside it. AI4Padel doesn’t come to fight with that — it comes to use that data.
The gap no management software fills
Here is the uncomfortable part. Matchpoint knows at 9 in the morning that the 7:30 pm match is at three players. It knows it all morning and all afternoon. And at 7:30 pm it is still at three, because recording is not acting: nobody wrote to anybody.
Today that work is yours: scan the grid, remember who fits, write one by one, chase whoever goes quiet. It is the whole WhatsApp afternoon that a management system neither sees nor counts. And every gap left open is money that never reaches the till: a 90-minute court averages around €24 in Spain¹.
How they coexist, in practice
AI4Padel reads your Matchpoint data read-only: players, levels and calendar. It never touches a booking, and the rule is fixed: if something looks wrong, you correct it in Matchpoint and it flows through on its own.

Your members as they live in AI4Padel: every level with its origin, “Matchpoint” included, so you know how much to trust each figure.
On top of that data, AI4Padel does its job: it detects the match that needs players, proposes members who fit with the reason written under each name, and leaves the messages ready to go out from your templates. You decide what goes out. The matches it builds get flagged for you to log back into Matchpoint, so the calendar stays single. How your data comes in without a migration is covered in this guide.
What if one day I want a single system?
That door exists, but you are the one who opens it: Completo mode makes AI4Padel your only system, with its own bookings, commission-free online payments, credit packs, memberships and certified invoicing (Verifactu). It activates by reservation order and is never a requirement: some clubs stay on Conecta forever, and that is fine.
When to pick each setup
- Matchpoint only: a small club, no matches falling through, and a free afternoon for WhatsApp. If it doesn’t hurt, don’t operate.
- Matchpoint + AI4Padel (Conecta): your management already works and your problem is filling — matches stuck at three, confirmations that drag, members going quiet. This is the most common setup among our clubs.
- AI4Padel only (Completo): you want one tool, no commissions, certified invoicing included. You reserve your spot and migrate when the time comes.
Quick questions
Does AI4Padel modify my Matchpoint bookings? No. The connection is read-only. Corrections happen in Matchpoint and AI4Padel picks them up.
Do I have to migrate data to start? No. AI4Padel reads what you already have. And if you ever move to Completo, your players, your WhatsApp and your history already live inside.
What happens to the levels I had in Matchpoint? They import with their origin marked on the profile: you know whether a level was set by the club, came from Matchpoint or is estimated.
How much does it cost? Flat price from €79/month on Conecta, no lock-in, no commissions. And a written guarantee: 12 completed matches in 90 days or your money back.
